The Ninth Prince's Consort Is Strong: Farming, Face-Slapping, and Raising Kids

[Transmigrating to the Qing Dynasty + Farming + Adorable Kids + Herculean Strength + Comedy + Subverting Expectations]

Overworked office worker Lin Qingqing transmigrates and becomes a native of the Qing dynasty, a member of the Donggo clan. While everyone else is tearing their hair out over the prospect of entering the palace, all she wants is to lie flat, count her money, and enjoy her retirement. But her family pressures her to enter the selection, and fate marries her off to the miserly, vindictive Ninth Prince.

Lin Qingqing: “Fine, I'll marry him. Men are just extras in life. Gold and jewels are my one true love!”

While everyone else competes for favor and beauty in the palace, she farms and raises livestock in the rear courtyard, turning the prince's estate into a sprawling agritourism resort. Short on cash? Dig up wild ginseng, open a shop, and “accidentally” punch her way into all kinds of lucrative ventures. Hungry? Grab a wild boar and cook it up. In a bad mood? Tear off a roof for a workout!

At first, Ninth Prince Yinzhen is exasperated by his “unconventional” wife. Then he discovers that... with a casual wave of her hand, she can toss a manager who refuses to pay his debts three zhang away; with a casual remark, she can identify the key to a business opportunity. Wait, is she unusually strong? And really good at making money!

From then on, Ninth Prince Yinzhen's life goes off course. While his brothers fight tooth and nail for the throne, he follows his wife around counting silver and lives the carefree life of a prince who loves money above all else.

His wife: “My lord, this looks like a good plot of land. We could start a farm here.”

The Ninth Prince: “Whatever you say, my dear. Let's get the farm going, then buy up the land next door from my brother too!”

(Lin Qingqing: My greatest wish in life is to lie down and count my money. Unfortunately, my abilities won't let me.)
