The Uncanny Trails of Nanyang

Three years ago, Tao Zhengxuan and five close friends set off on the long-awaited New-Malaysia-Thailand graduation trip. They had no idea that the moment they stepped into a century-old house in Penang, the compass of fate had quietly turned. Love curses, black magic, flying-head curses, life-prolonging rituals... One after another, taboos of Southeast Asia came true, and each of their companions was dragged into the abyss. A faceless woman in white on the Chao Phraya River, an ancient curse that followed them like a shadow through Chiang Mai's old city, and a sinister future reflected in every mirror.

Three years later, trapped in his Shanghai apartment, Tao Zhengxuan is plagued night after night by sleep paralysis. Images from another time begin to appear in his mirror. He realizes that the unfinished nightmare never ended. When the missing talisman reappears and a dead friend visits his dreams to warn him, he must return to Southeast Asia and unravel the century-old curse entangling all six lives. This time, he must face not only vengeful spirits, but also the maze laid by time itself.

The eerie journey has begun. There is no turning back.
