Memory Fragments: Hunting the Killer in a Frame-Up

“If you can’t even trust yourself, who can you trust?”

Five years ago, criminal police captain Lu Chen went undercover in a criminal syndicate trafficking human organs. Five years later, he is gravely injured in an explosion while investigating a serial murder case. When he wakes up with no memory, he finds himself the prime suspect.

Every piece of physical evidence points to him as the killer. The only things that could prove his innocence are a stranger’s fingernail clenched in his hand and the remnants of his criminal-investigation instincts.

A mysterious woman named Su Wan claims to be his partner. An encrypted journal records the words “eliminate the traitors.” Shadowy figures of uncertain identity keep hunting him down. Amid the ruins of his memory, Lu Chen must piece together who he really is before the next victim appears.

And when he finally cracks the code and sees himself in a video, personally dealing with a “traitor,” he realizes this trap was laid five years ago. The real killer has not only copied the methods of an unsolved case to frame him, but has also turned him into their most terrifying weapon.

When the final lie is exposed, the matching bomb detonator in Su Wan’s pocket flashes red. This time, Lu Chen must choose: trust the version of himself with no memories, or the woman before him who has risked her life for him?
