A Summer Breeze with a Hint of Strawberry

Lin Wanxing is a sweet, gentle Chinese literature major with a bit of social anxiety. Her favorite things are spending time in the library writing essays and secretly photographing the sunset over campus. Lu Yu is the computer science department's heartthrob and top student. Cool on the outside but warm within, he is a star on the basketball court and enjoys growing succulents in private. On the first day of school, Lin Wanxing trips on the steps outside the library while carrying a stack of books, sending them scattering everywhere. Lu Yu happens to pass by and bends down to help her pick them up. Their fingers accidentally brush the back of her hand, and they both freeze. After that, Lin Wanxing keeps running into Lu Yu by the library windows, in the basketball court stands, and at the cafeteria counter serving sweet-and-sour pork. She secretly writes these chance encounters in her journal, unaware that Lu Yu has long noticed the girl who always wears white dresses and whose eyes curve into a smile whenever she watches the sunset.
