The Forbidden Grounds of National Destiny open. While every other country chooses a champion or a genius, the Dragon Kingdom randomly draws a young man who sells Nuo opera masks in a livestream.
When faced with a ferocious beast, he performs a comical prayer dance. The comments explode: “What’s this shaman doing?!”
Only when the beast cowers on the ground and ancient seal script appears across the sky of the Forbidden Grounds do they understand: “Nuo Rite: Welcoming the Gods, verification passed.”
In that moment, the entire world falls silent.
