Lin Ye, captain of the league’s last-place team, is cursed online as a “paid actor” and a “poison to his team.” After one crushing defeat, he calmly submits his retirement application. Just as everyone celebrates the departure of the “jinx,” the official account releases a highlight reel hailed as legendary:
“Godlike predictions,” “impossible comebacks,” “insane plays”…
The player in every clip is none other than Lin Ye, the man they despised.
As the world’s top teams scramble to offer him huge contracts, he heads instead to his nemesis’s livestream:
“Senior, does your team… still need a player?”
