Two female leads: the cool and gentle spear cultivator Luo Taoning, and the scheming, lovesick Bai Moqiu.
This is my first time writing, so please excuse any rough edges.
If fate is unfair, then I'll change it. If I don't like the ending, I'll write a new one and rewrite this imperfect story.
The azure heavens stretch vast and boundless, and the path to immortality is long and arduous. Everyone is trapped in fate's game, but only a soul from another world can shatter the destiny board and dare to make the first move.
Luo Taoning is a war god who has lived through ten cycles of reincarnation. In every life, amid the smoke of battle, there was a figure named Bai Moqiu: moonlight on a sword sheath, the soft spot beneath her armor. They met in all ten lives, only to miss each other every time. Reincarnation ground their memories to dust, but their longing remained etched in their bones. This is Luo Taoning's final life, and she is determined to hold Bai Moqiu's hand tight as they enter the book together. She swears to rewrite Bai Moqiu's fate of being consumed by flames, and to tear apart the tragic ending that someone tampered with.
In the original story, Bai Moqiu is a demon lord who tramples the immortal sects. No one knows that she carries the pain of a love unfulfilled across countless timelines. She broke free of the pages only to reach the one she was destined to meet across lifetimes. The name Luo Taoning has long been carved into her very bones.
Trials at the immortal sects, rivalries between clans, and the struggle for the Great Dao. When Luo Taoning reaches out and calls her name, and the light of fate shines in Bai Moqiu's eyes, the wheels of destiny turn with a thunderous roar.
Luo Taoning: “I'd met you long ago, but why can't I remember?”
Bai Moqiu: “This time, I won't let go. I'll hold on to you tight, too.”
In this life, they will stand side by side, gather the stars and tread the moon, and triumph over fate.
