I Ride the Wind, Defying Heaven with Dao Marks

The story follows Chen Mo, a young man who was a lowly outer disciple of the Qingyun Sect, tasked with guarding the room where failed pills were stored. After stumbling upon Steward Wang Li's scheme, he was persecuted and forced to flee the sect. To survive and uncover the mystery of his past, he took the alias Mo Chen and went into hiding in the chaotic marketplace of Wild Ape Ridge.

There, with unyielding resolve and an ancient legacy he obtained by chance, the Ice Soul Star Mark Token, Chen Mo began his rise to power. He trained relentlessly in the perilous Cold Crow Marsh, rapidly improving both his cultivation and combat skills. To earn the right to break his blood curse and enter the sect's sacred Sword-Washing Pool, he resolutely returned to the Qingyun Sect to compete in the dangerous outer disciple tournament.

In the tournament, Chen Mo overcame one formidable foe after another with astonishing perseverance and hidden strength, becoming the biggest dark horse. His deadly showdown with his nemesis, Wang Li, was especially thrilling. In the end, he made it into the top ten and won a slim chance to enter the Sword-Washing Pool. But even greater conspiracies and ancient grudges were quietly coming to light, including the ties between the mysterious organization Shadow Abyss and the Star Mark legacy. His true trials had only just begun.
