Crest of Rules

This is not a story about guns and cannons, but a war of perception.

The protagonist, Lin Xi, wields her knowledge, powers of observation, and compassion that refuses to die even in the direst circumstances. She will join forces with Chen Mu, an operations expert among the Orderkeepers whose identity is shrouded in mystery, and venture into one bizarre "Rule Domain" after another: a mansion where reflections in the mirror lag three seconds behind, an abandoned apartment where the clocks move on their own, a silent neighborhood where sound is swallowed by an unseen force...

Every rule is a puzzle to be solved, and each solution brings her closer to the ultimate truth: a chilling truth about her own existence and why this world has become so fragile.
