Great Ming: The Sun and Moon Shine Anew

In 1645, Nanjing fell, and the last center of the Ming dynasty collapsed beneath the iron hooves of the invaders. Zhu Mingyu, a modern graduate student in history, was standing before the ruins of the Ming Palace when he suddenly blacked out. When he opened his eyes, he had become the sixteen-year-old Crown Prince Zhu Cilang. History was heading toward its bloodiest chapter: the Hongguang Emperor would be captured, and the Qing army would march south. From the slums along the Qinhuai River to the rugged mountains deep in Huizhou, he would face the Qing cavalry sweeping across East Asia, deeply entrenched factional strife, and a desperate era in which the people had lost all hope. Drawing on his insight into history, he would tip the scales at every crucial crossroads. He was not just trying to save a dynasty.
