I Write Whatever Line I Dream About

[BG, one-on-one romance, both leads are each other’s only partners, happy ending. Light comedy] A hilarious, gloriously unhinged story, but with a central plot. The male and female leads both think in wonderfully strange ways, and the author isn't exactly normal either. The main focus is comedy, comedy, comedy. But I won't slack off when it comes to the central plot, either! [Muah] * CEO He Yicheng × web-novel author Lin Shao * I'm Lin Shao, a web-novel author who makes a living writing down my sleep-talk. Then I dreamed that the aloof CEO He Yicheng was crying as he chased a car through the rain, and I wrote it into my novel. The next day, I saw him in person outside a cafe, drenched in muddy water after a speeding car splashed him. On a whim, I updated the chapter: “He watched the car's taillights disappear, a downpour raging in his heart.” Then, beneath a clear, sunny sky, I watched a little rain cloud materialize three meters above his head and drench him, and only him. My phone buzzed. My editor sent an ecstatic message: “Babe! Your new ‘artificial-rain heartbreak’ scene is a hit! Readers are saying it's insane!” I looked at the man, soaked from head to toe and questioning his entire existence. Oh no. It seems I haven't been writing a novel. I've been writing his... user's manual. [The world is getting crazier, but I'll always love you] [I love what's real, and I love you]
