A tabby cat who loves sleeping and always gets even vs. a petty, grudge-holding nine-tailed white fox
Li Shui is a spirit cat, born of the Heavenly Dao to protect peace across the Six Realms. When she was over eighteen thousand years old, she went out to slay an ancient demon beast and casually rescued a fox. All because she called the fox ugly, the fox held a grudge against her from that day on.
Bai Yi was that fox. Since she couldn’t beat Li Shui, she decided to become her apprentice first, planning to betray her master one day.
But...
After more than three thousand years of training, she was still the one getting pinned to the ground and beaten...
At six thousand years old, Bai Yi finally got the chance to undergo a tribulation, a shortcut to quickly increasing her power. After her sixth uncle talked her into it, she asked her master to accompany her through the tribulation, only to get a sound beating in return...
The good news: she achieved her ultimate goal, so the beating wasn’t for nothing.
The bad news: all sorts of people who either admired or hated Li Shui descended to the mortal world, so Bai Yi’s tribulation was destined to be anything but peaceful...
World One: A demon hunter protecting a fox spirit
World Two: A young general trying to aid a princess
World Three: Sentinel vs. Guide
