Whales Fall, Butterflies Rise

Hu Die, who has chronic heart disease, meets Jing Yu, a former swimmer left disabled by an accident, at a seaside convalescent home. One is like a fragile butterfly trapped by illness, the other like a stranded whale confined to a wheelchair. In each other, they see the same loneliness. Using painting as a bridge and promises as their guiding light, they support each other as they push past their limitations. Through health challenges and the test of distance, they help the butterfly fly across the sea and the whale find a new ocean, composing a moving story of love and resilience.
