The Bones of Anxi

Guo Kai, a special forces soldier, transmigrates to the Tang dynasty during the Tianbao era and becomes a senior general of the Left Military Guard, tasked with overseeing Anxi. After awakening the Sign-in System, he receives provisions and medicine from his beginner’s draw, along with the rebellious female general Qin Luoyan, and sets down roots alone in a desperate land. With bandits causing trouble and the Tubo and Uyghurs bearing down on every side, he uses modern tactics to turn the tide, protect the remnants of his army, and build a future. He swears to rewrite the tragic tale of the Anxi Army’s fifty years of struggle and let the cold gleam of the Mo Dao shine across the Western Regions once more.
