Rouge Stains the Frost and Snow

Shen Zhiwei, the daughter of an official family, fell on hard times and was sold into a brothel, where she met General Xiao Ce in the depths of despair. To survive, she went from gentle and vulnerable to cold and hard. After buying her freedom, she raised a child on her own and built an independent life with her embroidery skills. Once she made a name for herself, she reunited with Xiao Ce, who had become a celebrated general. After enduring countless hardships, they finally found their way to each other. But war broke out again, and Shen Zhiwei endured terrible suffering to save her husband. Though she lived to see Xiao Ce return victorious, he ultimately died in a plot against him. Having lost everything, Shen Zhiwei walked into the endless snow on a snowy night, dressed in red and carrying her beloved’s memorial tablet. All she left behind was the tragic, beautiful legend of rouge staining snow.
