He Wields His Lips and Teeth Like Blades

[Gorgeous, badass policewoman vs. sharp-tongued lawyer] [Two strong leads + workplace rivalry + industry elites + love-hate relationship + mystery + crime + intense push and pull + sweet and bittersweet romance]

A criminal personally arrested by police captain Gu Wanbing was “acquitted” in court by top lawyer Ye Zhiyuan.

She saw him as a sharp-tongued lawyer who defended the devil, and could hardly wait to slap a pair of handcuffs on him herself.

Then one day, in a blind spot beyond the reach of the cameras, she punched him hard in the stomach. “Lawyer Ye, do you have any evidence to charge me now?”

He didn’t call the police. Instead, he sent her a bouquet of red roses every day.

When a deeply convoluted smuggling case forced them to join forces and pose as an intimate couple to infiltrate the enemy’s lair, Gu Wanbing discovered that the man she hated most was as vicious in a fight as a demon from hell, and as mysterious as an abyss.

Time and again, he shielded her, whispering in the dark, “Officer Gu, instead of hitting me… why not make me your long-term ‘evidence’?”

When the truth comes to light, should she point her gun at the man in front of her, or stand back to back with him and face the real evil?
