Dragon Raja: Twin Thrones

Cassell College has welcomed the worst freshman in its history: Lin Xian, rated F, with a bloodline that is consistently “worthless.” No one knows that the burning brand beneath his left chest is the mark of a “vessel,” carved by Li Wuyue, King of Bronze and Fire, with his own hand. He was born for one purpose: to bring about the perfect resurrection of a Dragon King. At the 3E exam, the Dragon script thundered and his seal began to loosen. For the first time, molten-gold light in his eyes tore through his human skin. His close friend Lu Mingfei hooked an arm around his trembling shoulder. “Don’t be afraid. The good-for-nothing alliance never gives up.” The killer Chu Zihang pointed his blade at Lin Xian’s heart. “What exactly are you?” Headmaster Angers smiled in the shadows. “Such a perfect creation, and such a pitiful prisoner.” As whispers that devour souls echoed night after night, as the web of a thousand-year scheme quietly closed in Lin Xian gripped the flaming sword that was supposed to pierce his companion, aiming it at the “father” at the end of his bloodline, and at the increasingly unfamiliar molten-gold eyes in the mirror. “I have struggled with myself for so long,” he chuckled amid the flames, declaring a rebellion born of betrayal. “I would rather be myself.” This is a vessel’s rebellion against its creator, a “human” defying a “god.” Upon the twin thrones, he will be reborn through death.
