The Hidden Dragon’s Tale: A Hundred Thousand Years of Reincarnation

Synopsis of The Hidden Dragon in Ten Thousand Cycles of Reincarnation

When Lin Jinghong, the old patriarch of Jiangcheng’s Lin family, dies unexpectedly, his funeral becomes a hot potato that no one dares handle. After making inquiries, Lin Wanxing, the family’s only daughter, learns that only the master of the Immortal Pavilion, whom her grandfather worshiped in his lifetime, can oversee this unusual funeral.

Resolved to die trying, she kneels for three days outside the mountain gate of the Immortal Pavilion, striking her head against the ground at every step until it is bloodied. At last, she manages to gain an audience with its master, Ling Xiao. Moved by her determination, Ling Xiao sets off for Jiangcheng, but first detours to the Su family. Their old servant, Su Chenzhou, is at death’s door, and his final wish is for Ling Xiao to conduct his funeral. Otherwise, he says, he will die with regrets.

Ling Xiao arrives at the Su family and agrees to oversee the funeral. Only then does Su Chenzhou close his eyes in peace. But the younger members of the Su family, represented by Su Qingyao, see how young Ling Xiao is and decide he must be an impostor. They refuse to honor the Su family’s old promise to the Immortal Pavilion, and after Ling Xiao leaves, they completely ignore his instructions for handling Su Chenzhou’s remains…

A scheme spanning ten thousand cycles of reincarnation and extraordinary secrets hidden in the city gradually come to light through these two eerie funerals. Lin Wanxing and Su Qingyao, two women who seem to have nothing to do with each other, are also drawn into Ling Xiao’s unfathomably deep game of “immortality.” When the hidden dragon awakens from reincarnation, the skies over Jiangcheng are about to change!
