Razor-Sharp Mercenaries

A gunshot at a border night market shatters college student Lin Yan’s ordinary life. As a terrorist’s bullet grazes his scalp, he grips his modified ice axe and fights his way through the terror, drawing on hundreds of military manuals he has studied inside out and skills honed through grueling training.

Two mercenaries who should have been working for the terrorists set their sights on this audacious “college kid.”

“Pulling this stunt on Chinese soil? You trying to get yourself killed? We’re out!”

“This kid’s got potential. Take him with us!”

Swept into an international escape, Lin Yan is dumped at a mercenary base engulfed in war. There are no superpowers, no System, just cold firearms, burning blood, and a pack of lunatics, each with their own quirks, who would trust one another with their lives.

A four-hundred-strong mercenary group and four combat squads with vastly different styles: tempered in blood and fire, a rookie college student steps over mountains of corpses and transforms, one step at a time, into a blade that makes the world tremble.
