The Five Barbarians Run Amok! The Bald Emperor Slaughters at Will!

I, Wang Feng, woke up one day as a bald refugee at the end of the Western Jin dynasty, with the number "Liu the Bald."

Starving, with my stomach pressed against my back, I watched the Emperor System suddenly spring back to life. Its mission from the start was to make me recruit underlings, with a meal as the reward.

On the verge of dying by the roadside, I sweet-talked and tricked the only softhearted person around, Pu Sangou, into stumbling up into the mountains with me...

Who knew the mountains would have not only meat and farmland, but also a paradise-like idle-growth spot?

But the System is even crueler than Zhou Bapi:

Fail to recruit anyone new within fifty days? Execution warning!

I had no choice but to charge out of the mountains with three sorry excuses for men, only to stumble upon a wealthy clan massacring a village.

Fine. I'll save the people, kill their lackeys, and punch a hole through this rotten world!

From then on, things got increasingly bizarre:

I farm and build infrastructure in the mountains, while the villagers I lured here think they've found the immortal realm.

The rebellious fellow I casually subdued tries to seize power every day, until I beat him into my number-one bootlicker.

The impoverished noble couple I picked up help me manage the books while questioning their whole lives...

The Wang family's army curses outside the mountains: "Baldy, get out here!"

I chew on a fresh ear of wheat and open the System panel:

Agricultural Mastery, Baji Fist Specialization, Eye for Loyalty and Treachery... Oh, and hair regrowth research in progress.

"What's the hurry?" I gaze at a valley full of my new subjects, all crying out to be fed, and grin:

"Once my hair grows back, I'll go shave your kingdom clean."

[Transmigration + System + Farming + Warlord Battles]

From bald refugee to infrastructure maniac, he forges an outrageous path to victory in the hellish opening of the Five Barbarians' uprising.
