A playboy, emotionally reckless Alpha bottom × a calm, self-controlled, gentle, scheming older Alpha top

Cheng Jinghe, the wealthy family's famous slacker, lived by one principle: eat, drink, and wait to die.

That was until he fell in love at first sight with Tang Yan, a friend of his brother's wife.

He deliberately got close to Tang, thinking it would just be a fling. Before he knew it, he'd fallen hard.

But he was afraid. The shadow of his family had left him with an emotional disorder, and the thought of committing to someone felt worse than death.

So when he realized Tang Yan had feelings for him too, he cut off contact and ran.

Unexpectedly, Tang Yan turned around and struck a deal with the Cheng family, binding him with a marriage contract and bringing him back.

Cheng Jinghe pushed Tang Yan away with the cruelest words he could find, yet couldn't stop longing for that little bit of warmth in the dead of night. He felt like he was being torn in two.

At last, the engagement was called off just as he'd wanted. He thought he'd won back his freedom, but Tang Yan kept finding ways into his life, and Cheng Jinghe gradually began to soften.

When he realized something was wrong, he used caring for his grandfather as an excuse to flee overseas.

Life abroad was supposed to be free, but it didn't make him happy. At last, Cheng Jinghe understood that although he'd escaped the engagement, he had locked himself forever in a prison called “Tang Yan.”

This time, he didn't want to run anymore.

Tang Yan: “Such lovely skin, young master. How does an Alpha get to be so pampered?”

Tang Yan: “An Alpha this pampered should be an Alpha's wife.”

Cheng Jinghe: “I don't need you complimenting me!”
