Are You the Light in My Heart?

[Mutual healing + pregnancy before marriage + wealthy CEO + straight man + adorable kids]

Every year, Ye Zhiyu visits the old park in Nancheng and sits on the swing, reminiscing about the happy days of her childhood.

Someone quietly keeps watch behind her, accompanying her as she revisits every familiar and unfamiliar corner.

They are separated by the distance of a road, but that distance feels like an uncrossable chasm, keeping them apart.

The man sighs softly and can only protect her in silence. Perhaps this, too, is a way of staying by her side.

Ye Zhiyu never expected that one mishap would leave her carrying twins.

Her children’s thoughtfulness comforts her. She does have family, and life must go on.

She doesn’t know that every time she runs into Chu Yanzhou, he sees her at her most awkward.

It makes Ye Zhiyu question her sanity. How can she keep running into him at the worst possible moments?

Chu Yanzhou never expected his encounters with Ye Zhiyu to feel so deliberate, yet each one seemed perfectly reasonable.

He never expected that the symptoms keeping him awake would ease every time he met that woman.

Fate seems to tug them back and forth, bringing them together by chance.

Neither of them realizes that each encounter leaves them with a different memory.

Years later, looking back, it seems as if fate had been drawing them together all along.

Will her light shine on him forever?

Or will his light shine on her forever?
