Lin Xiaofeng and his friends form an amateur adventuring party, dreaming of exploring the mysterious ruins of the Six Realms. Each of the three volumes revolves around a different mystery. In Volume One, “The Lost Gate,” the party enters a hidden world and foils an evil plot to seize ancient treasures. In Volume Two, “The Mystery of the Ring World,” they journey through a vast, wondrous realm beyond their own, working together to uncover the truth behind the world's upheaval. In Volume Three, “The Key to the Way Home,” they face off against the mastermind at last and join forces to avert disaster, restoring the connections between the Six Realms. The book is lighthearted and fast-paced, full of witty banter and playful interactions between people and their pets, while balancing character growth with suspense.
