The Old Days Hidden in the Game

In the winding alleys of our childhood, our happiness was hidden in the roll of glass marbles, the fun of magnets attracting and repelling, the anticipation as we rolled the dice in Monopoly, the wins and losses of rock-paper-scissors, the chase between cops and robbers, and the thrill of turning over playing cards.

In fourth and fifth grade, the monster encyclopedia in Rock Kingdom and the hail of bullets in CrossFire added vivid strokes to our childhood. Once we entered middle school, the fierce battles of Sudden Attack gradually replaced CrossFire, and later, five-player gaming sessions in Honor of Kings carved themselves into the memories of our youth.

Some people say games stole away the years we should have spent growing up. But to me, these memories of games, soaked in sweat and laughter, are treasures gifted by time, worth revisiting and cherishing again and again in the years to come.
