In his previous life, Li Qian drifted through life in a daze and accomplished nothing.
After an accident, he was reborn,
on the very day he was due to collect his bride for their wedding.
But as soon as he was reborn, the bride's family suddenly demanded a higher bride price.
Remembering how, after the wedding in his previous life, his bride's family had latched onto him and bled him dry,
Li Qian declares that the wedding is off. Whoever wants to marry this brother-spoiling woman can have her.
After being reborn, Li Qian discovers many details he overlooked in his previous life.
Things aren't as simple as he thought!
There are hidden schemes at work!
A hidden hand is manipulating the lives of his entire family,
and he vows to expose the mastermind
and avenge the wrongs of his previous life!
He'll settle every score and repay every kindness!
And besides getting his revenge,
with the national college entrance exam resuming in 1977,
he'll take the exam and fulfill his dream of going to university!
He'll also seize the golden opportunity of China's reform and opening up to start a business,
and turn his hometown into one of the country's wealthiest villages.
Looks great. I like the smell.
