The Office Isn’t Home, but It’s Full of More Drama

Welcome to Anju Workshop, a renovation company where workplace rivalries are as childish as a kindergarten class. Sales director Zhao Gang holds pointless meetings every day to prove he matters. Designer Lin Mo fights to the bitter end for artistic dignity against a wealthy client’s rainbow-colored chandelier. Plumber Wang Qiang believes there’s nothing in the world a wrench can’t fix. Amid this crowd of drama queens, the new installer, Chen Hai, seems completely out of place. He used to be a bankrupt business owner, and now he just wants to quietly grow cherry tomatoes. Then he discovers that Zhao Gang’s mansion is actually a partitioned apartment he shares with others, Lin Mo’s international award is just an entry certificate, and Su Qing’s perfect marriage is with a hired husband. When everyone’s secrets come out, they decide to stick together and put on an act to face the real crises of adulthood. Here, every feud ends with milk tea, and every conflict ultimately turns into a cozy, “How about we order hot pot?”
