The world I live in is a badly written novel that was abandoned before the ending.
And I’m a background character the author couldn’t even be bothered to give a proper name.
Then I discovered I had somehow gained the ability to see “world bugs.”
I can see 【Grease Factor: 99%】 above the domineering CEO’s head;
I can hear the System announce that the author is 【padding the word count like crazy】 again;
And I can use the rule that “villains always talk too much” to make my enemies freeze mid-sentence.
I thought this was a golden finger from heaven.
Until one day, a chilling server-wide announcement appeared across the sky:
「This book’s data is too poor. The author has abandoned it. The world will be forcibly concluded in 30 days, then permanently deleted.」
The plot of the entire world began to collapse. Cultivators mounted their flying swords and crashed headfirst into the cyberpunk city next door.
With nowhere else to turn, I broke into the “World Editorial Office” and grabbed the down-and-out failure of an author. “Quick! Finish the story!”
He looked at me, his eyes lifeless. “I’m just an intern. I don’t even have the rights to put my name on this book.”
The real “editor” was walking toward us with a formatting program, smiling.
