The Deposed Emperor Returns and Unifies the Six Kingdoms

[Deposed Emperor Reborn + Chasing the Emperor to the Crematorium + Face-slapping Power Fantasy + Political Intrigue]

I was a deposed emperor, pierced through the heart by a thousand arrows from my trusted aides. After coming back to life, I became the darling of the Heavenly Dao.

From then on, all I wanted was to take my revenge as quickly as possible, then lie flat and travel the world.

But the Heavenly Dao begged me to ascend the throne, and even bestowed an outrageously powerful golden finger upon me: anyone loyal to me would gain a luck buff.

Anyone I wanted could become my underling, with absolute loyalty guaranteed.

But I didn't want that.

Thunder from the heavens? Wildfires? Drought? Plague? Let them come if they must. What does any of it have to do with me?

Little by little, everyone realized that if they pledged themselves to the deposed emperor, not only would natural disasters give them a wide berth, but their luck would become absurdly good.

And just like that, my plan to lie flat went completely out the window. They practically forced me onto the throne: “Your Majesty, ascend the throne for the sake of all under Heaven!”

Me: “...” Fine, then. I might as well unify the six kingdoms and deal with those transmigrators and reborn troublemakers while I'm at it.
