Honkai: Star Rail: A Bug’s Trailblazing Journey

When Lin Lan opened her compound eyes, the world was on fire. Not a metaphor. Her visual organs were made up of 3,600 hexagonal lenses, each reflecting a different hell. The bad news: She had transmigrated into the Swarm Disaster as a late-born King Bug among Tayzzyronth's offspring, destined to turn to dust alongside Taranon beneath the giant hammer of Preservation. The good news: Amid a chorus of sobs, a melody stirred by countless voices, and a burst of laughter, she became a passenger of Akivili. She had sipped the starlight of the first bloom of prosperity beside the Astral Express's hearth. And now, Lin Lan was a King Bug wearing a human form, a living “mistake” cast into the river of time by an Aeon's own hand. In these days of blood and fire, marked by the interstellar energy war and the Second Emperor's War, Lin Lan carved a path through the searing, hellish mire of flesh, where wailing piglets crawled. And so began the pioneering journey of our dear Ms. Lin Lan. (Most of the time, she is a person with a few insect traits. Only occasionally does she take on her full King Bug form.)
