Yin-Yang Trade: My Eighteen-Year Career in Funeral Services

The Yin-Yang Trade: My Eighteen-Year-Old Career in Funeral Services tells the story of Lin Yang, who fails the college entrance exam at eighteen and inherits his grandfather’s legacy. A Maoshan Taoist priest and funeral master, his grandfather passes down the craft, and Lin Yang becomes a yin-yang practitioner in the countryside. He learns Maoshan Taoist arts from his grandfather and begins handling funeral arrangements, encountering supernatural events such as coffins that move on their own and malevolent spirits bound to the land. He must also face the dangers brought by vengeful ghosts and strange creatures. As he repeatedly battles supernatural entities and resolves eerie incidents, Lin Yang gradually masters secret techniques, growing from an awkward apprentice into an independent practitioner. Along the way, he comes to understand the responsibility and meaning behind this line of work.
