Siheyuan: Dad, Stop Slapping Me! The Old Hag Is About to Die

[A little angst + mostly slice of life + mischievous kid + dad who plays dumb] Lei Hao transmigrated into the body of an eight-year-old boy and moved into a courtyard with his northeastern dad, Lei Baoshan, a veteran who'd left the army for civilian work. He'd planned to keep his head down and grow up quietly, but then he discovered that the whole courtyard was full of “beasts.” Jia Zhangshi wanted to seize their home? Yi Zhonghai wanted his dad to support him in his old age? Silly Zhu wanted to throw punches? Lei Hao looked at his biological father, who wore a security department uniform, stood six foot three, and was built like a tank, and grinned. He bound himself to a System that rewarded him for helping his dad. As long as he helped his father dodge trouble, or stirred the pot, he'd get supplies as a reward. And so the courtyard's whole vibe changed... Jia Zhangshi threw a tantrum? Lei Hao said, “Dad, that old hag says her teeth hurt.” Lei Baoshan replied, “You got it! I'll pull them out for her right now!” Yi Zhonghai tried to guilt-trip them with morality? Lei Hao said, “Dad, that old geezer Yi says he's got more money than he can spend and wants to help us out.” Lei Baoshan replied, “Great! Thanks, Old Yi! If you refuse, that means you think our family's steamed buns, I mean fists, don't taste good!” Watching the beasts get beaten black and blue, Lei Hao urged his father in a babyish voice, “Dad, that's enough. Keep going and they'll stop breathing!”
