The dust hung in the air like a dazzling haze, slowly settling over the podium.

Ling Jiu stood there, feeling as if an enormous water balloon were hanging from her backside, weighing her down so badly her back might snap.

That huge tail kept twitching restlessly, with wet paint dripping from its tip.

Plop.

Another drop of thick, bright-yellow liquid hit the floor and quickly spread, turning the once solemn and dignified awakening platform into a paint palette someone had knocked over.

“Cough, cough, cough!”

The old principal waved his arms to clear away the colorful dust in front of him. His usually stern old face was now a riot of colors.

The left half of his face was red, the right half blue, and a glob of unidentified green goo clung to his mustache.

The students below were all dumbfounded.

The schoolyard, packed with thousands of people, was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

What was this supposed to be?

The one and only hidden class?

And all it did was dye the principal to look like a colorful parrot?

Ling Jiu tilted her head and looked at the flamboyantly colored old man in front of her.

She blinked twice, raised a hand, and pointed at the principal’s mustache.

“Um... Grandpa, green really suits you. It makes you look especially full of life.”
