Doomsday Stillpoint: Surviving at the Central Hospital

After the blackout, I became the only “outlaw” in the central control System. Subway turnstiles swallow people, and red runes kill everything. Survivors line up to register, trading their names and memories for a bottle of water or a bed. I, Chen She, a structural engineer, refuse to surrender my soul. While they put on bite-happy wristbands in the green-light zone, I use a screwdriver and concrete to establish the first resistance outpost in a maintenance shaft fifty meters underground. Acid rain eats away at flesh, swarms of rats hunt the living, and the Cleaner Train wipes the map every week. They say I won’t last three days. Now I’m infected with “logical necrosis,” and my hand is turning into a mosaic piece by piece. On the System screen, my sentence flashes: 【Recommended for retrieval】 Ahead lies the only hospital with its lights on, a top-tier facility. Inside are life-saving drugs, and something more terrifying than death: the registration operating table. Should I check in, or rob the place? 【Survival + Rules-based horror + Dystopia > No superpowers, just trigonometry and the laws of physics, as I carve out a path to survival through the System’s death program.】
