The Brocade-Clad Record of Jade

Shen Wangyou is an obscure restorer of ancient texts in the depths of the palace. As her fingers brush over damaged scrolls, she conceals in her heart a blood feud over her family's destruction. Xiao Zhu is the Seventh Prince, admired by the world for his carefree elegance. In secret, he lies in wait, bearing the heavy duty of carrying on the legacy of the former dynasty. A restoration project concerning the truth of history entwines their fates. They make shattered pages their battlefield and wield ink and painting as blade and sword, seeking the truth that was altered among the vast sea of old documents, while protecting the flame of civilization amid the whirlpool of power. From the inner palace to the realm, from using one another to entrusting their lives to each other, they repair not only broken historical records, but also a world on the brink of collapse. This is a contest with wisdom as its blade and heritage as its charge. The day the truth comes to light will be the day the realm is rewritten.
