The City's Number One Belle Becomes a Country Cook

Guys, who can relate?

I just don't want to be the so-called "number one jewel of the city" anymore. Every day I'm stuck at banquets, fake-smiling until my face goes stiff like I'm in a jewelry commercial. It's exhausting.

So I took a page from old-school romance heroines and made a midnight escape, carrying a train on my back... I mean, driving off in my hot-pink supercar.

Then the GPS led me to some backwater mountain hollow. What is this, a place with no signal in this day and age?

And the craziest part is, I only wanted to borrow some Wi-Fi, but I stumbled across a handsome guy practicing combat with a holographic projection?!

Now look what happened. The handsome guy has me detained, and his reason is absolutely mind-blowing:

"You've trespassed into my absolute domain. Either stay and be my cook, or stay and become fertilizer for my flowers."

I looked at his sci-fi-movie-worthy smart kitchen and the mountain of empty nutrient-supplement bottles, and fell into deep thought.

Buddy, you don't need a cook. What you need is a living, breathing dad who can drag you out of your cyber lifestyle!
