Freshly Broken Up, I Get My Waist Bruised by My Unhinged Little Brother from Beijing’s Elite Circle

Let's start with the bottom line: the male lead is no good, but he loves the heroine to death.

The good news: Cheng Yeqing is a top socialite in Beijing, brilliant and talented.

The bad news: she's hopeless when it comes to love, and her fiance is a scumbag.

The even worse news: the scumbag's younger brother, Chu Yizhou, has his eye on her.

Scene One:

[A stormy night] Cheng Yeqing is stranded by the road.

Chu Yizhou tosses her the most expensive umbrella in the supermarket. "Nobody wants it. It's yours."

The result: he runs off in the rain himself, looking like a drowned rat.

Scene Two:

[A family banquet] Her former fiance begs her to get back together.

Chu Yizhou peels a shrimp in front of everyone and feeds it to Cheng Yeqing. "Second sister-in-law doesn't like shrimp with the shell on. Big Brother, you didn't know that?"

The result: her ex-fiance turns green, and Cheng Yeqing blushes.

Scene Three:

[After marriage] Cheng Yeqing stubbornly says she doesn't like him.

Chu Yizhou pins her against the wall, eyes red. "You don't like me? Then why is your heart beating so fast?"

(Narrator: This is what happens when a stubborn talker meets a man of action.)
