Embers of Eternal Frost

In a world where it is always winter and bitterly cold, everyone survives on heat. But I can't touch anything hot. The moment I do, I break out in blisters and feel excruciating pain. So everyone thinks I'm useless. My parents died horribly five years ago in the furnace district, where the fires burn. Now I've been thrown in there to work too, and the foreman abuses me every day. Today, he pinned me against the red-hot cinders and laughed, asking if it had been this hot when my parents died. Just as I was about to be burned to death, I suddenly realized: I can turn pain into fire. The flames in my hand burned the foreman's hand away. Now I know: the more pain you make me suffer, the greater the fire I can unleash. I'll use these flames to burn every person who ever hurt me, one by one. Even if I end up burning myself to ash. At least ash is warm.
