Endfield: The Former Human's Secret Identity Saves the World

[Arknights] [Endfield]

Shen Yi arrives on Talos-II bearing the identity of a “former human” and a “Developer Mod,” becoming the only exception in this world.

When a deadly scythe hangs less than half a meter above the dragonkin girl’s head, Shen Yi presses the “pause” button. Watching the once-arrogant angel inexplicably slip and fall in a ridiculous heap, Chen Qianyu stares wide-eyed, still shaken. “Shen Yi… don’t tell me you’re the chosen one?”

Perlica slowly turns her face. There are no tears in her aqua-blue eyes, only a reason bordering on the absurd.

“Shen Yi, if our civilization is destined to be destroyed, if the abyss beyond that dome has already sentenced us to death…”

“Then is this so-called ‘pressing forward’ really opening up a future, or just holding a grand, futile funeral for a civilization destined to die?”
