Muchang: The Patriarch Is a Rotten Person with a Sincere Heart

“Your sword kills for me; my illness lets me scheme against the world for you.”

Su Muyu, the gentle, powerful, steady top, + Su Changhe, the frail, ruthless bottom

The Dark River is the most mysterious assassin organization in the jianghu. Su Muyu is its sharpest sword, silent as a shadow, never hesitating once his blade is drawn. Su Changhe is its most venomous schemer, confined to his sickbed and ruthless to the core.

The world knows only the master-and-servant relationship between the assassin and the frail sect leader, but no one knows that...

· Su Muyu's sword always falters for a moment when Su Changhe coughs blood.

· Su Changhe's medicine is always carefully mixed and tested for poison by Su Muyu himself.

· Su Muyu's blood clears the road ahead for Su Changhe, while Su Changhe's schemes smooth the way home for Su Muyu.

Until one night, Su Changhe coughs blood and laughs softly. “What if I told you I poisoned myself with this illness and planned the whole game?”

The sword tip presses to his throat, but stops at his bloodstained lips.

From then on, the Dark River's leader and his top assassin are each other's sharpest blade and most fatal weakness. They dance together amid bloody conspiracies, protect one another in the abyss of ambition, until the entire jianghu becomes a stake in their game. And sincerity becomes the only unpredictable factor in their endless struggle.

In a nutshell: This is an epic tale of a frail, ambitious schemer and his silent killing machine. They tame and shape one another amid bloodshed, ultimately wagering the entire jianghu and their hearts in a game of life and death.
