Nine-Headed Xiangliu: The Battle Against Fate

The “martial soul awakening” of the Martial Soul Continent hides a conspiracy. The four great empires and top sects use the “Awakening Array” to screen for martial souls they can control, secretly suppressing holders of ancient martial souls and branding them “heretics against the Heavenly Dao.” The Blood Soul Hall is not simply an evil force: it is made up of descendants of ancient martial souls who have been suppressed for generations, and it seeks to overthrow the existing order. Meanwhile, the “Keepers of Order,” the organization Elder Xuan belongs to, both fear the destructive power of ancient martial souls and need their help to fight the even more terrifying “Void Spirit Devourers,” a threat more fundamental than the outside demons. The three factions form a deadly balance.
