Synopsis

Coming-of-age story + Slam Dunk fan fiction + passionate sports competition + making up for regrets + brotherhood on the court + school life

What if Sakuragi had started playing basketball in middle school? What if Yohei Mito had put on a jersey? What if Sakuragi’s father hadn’t died?

I, Aoi Takuto, will rewrite every one of those regrets!

After transmigrating into Wako Middle School, my first order of business is to drag that red-haired “King of Heartbreak” into the gym. My second is to turn his gang of delinquent brothers into the most reliable teammates around.

Sakuragi, quit fooling around! Your talent shouldn’t be wasted on getting dumped!

Yohei Mito, stop fighting and come help me win a championship!

No one believes in us. They call us trash, delinquents, and benchwarmers.

In this life, I won’t rely on anyone else. With the “Sakuragi Gang” and a bunch of “problem kids” who only know how to fight, we’ll battle our way from the prefectural tournament all the way to the national stage!

When Sakuragi learns to defend and box out, when Yohei Mito sinks a deadly three, when Lin Feng stuns all of Japan with a tomahawk dunk...

Sorry, but this year’s national champions are us “bad boys” from Wako Middle School!

Why Aren't There Any New Slam Dunk Stories Anymore? There Are Far Too Few

If I knew anything about basketball, I'd write one too.
