A Fragile Galaxy

Lin Xingci was born with a rare illness, and doctors predicted he would not live to twenty. Born prematurely and frail, his life was like a candle flickering in the wind, yet he was surrounded by the love of family and the kindness of others from a young age.

He could not run or jump, and relied on a wheelchair and ventilator for years. His tiny body bore the weight of a serious illness, and every breath had to be carefully measured.

Yet he remained sunny and resilient, using his paintbrush to capture warmth: his family’s smiles, his friends’ companionship, and the love of strangers. His paintings became Light, illuminating his own life and bringing healing to the world.

From infancy through adolescence, he embodied extraordinary warmth in his brief life. The frail, beloved boy became the darling of everyone around him, leaving a light in countless hearts that would never go out.
