The Rusty Shears Awaken: I Severed the Gate to Cthulhu

People around the world suddenly began experiencing mental mutations. In truth, they were Awakened, fighting against Cthulhu’s evil creatures.

Lu Mingchuan’s soul crossed into a psychiatric hospital. He woke in a locked ward, with his childhood friend Chu Linfeng whispering in his ear: “We have to survive.”

This wasn’t a hospital, but a training camp for Keepers. Madness was the norm here, and sanity was a weakness.

By chance, he gained a golden finger: a rusty pair of scissors that could slay evil spirits and absorb secret essence.

The scissors devoured a mysterious liquid and transformed into a dark silver pair, able to cut through space, sever concepts, and even reverse the flow of secret essence.

While others endured contamination with their flesh and blood, he advanced step by step with his scissors, fighting from the ward all the way to the depths of the abyss.

As the world sank beneath a chorus of whispers, he cut open a bronze gate and dragged an ancient god into a living hell.

In the final battle, the silver scissors pierced his heart. The universe’s secret essence flowed backward, and he was reborn beneath the gaze of billions of eyes.

The rusted scissors are immortal. Those who knock on the door shall live forever.
