Detective Conan: The Dimmed Twin Stars

She is the Black Organization’s most mysterious master of disguise, codenamed Vermouth. After spending half her life navigating darkness and lies, she has long since grown used to sealing her true feelings beneath layer upon layer of ice.

She is a “defective specimen” from one of the Organization’s failed experiments, codenamed Gamma-7. Her only “abnormality” is that she can see the colors of other people’s emotions: anger is red, fear is gray, and pain is an unfathomable blue.

A mission that should have been a routine cleanup brings their fates together on a rainy night in Tokyo. As the muzzle of a Beretta points between her brows, the girl sees through to an old wound buried deep in her heart. “At the very bottom of your whirlpool… there’s light.”

From that moment on, the lies begin to unravel. One assumes a false identity to protect an “interesting test subject”; the other plays along as an accomplice just to survive. Hunted by the Organization, they flee together, grow through the haze of a series of cases, and forge a bond deeper than blood through a dance of suspicion and trust.

And all of it is witnessed by that bespectacled elementary school detective. As the Black Organization’s shadow, the mystery of an unknown past, and a dangerous yet heartwarming mutual salvation intertwine…

Can two women walking through the darkness become each other’s light?
