I transmigrated to the Qin Dynasty and became a rookie “historical repairer” at the Time Bureau.
My very first assignment: deal with Qin Shi Huang.
At court, Li Si sees me as a thorn in his side, while Hu Hai considers me an obstacle. The flames of the book-burning are about to rise, and the classics of the Hundred Schools are in peril.
But my greatest enemies are a group of fellow transmigrators who call themselves “Entropy.” Lurking in the shadows of history, they coldly insist, “The Qin system must be tyrannical, and civilization must suffer a rupture. That's the ‘correct’ version of history.”
I smiled.
After activating the [Civilization Flame System], I bowed to the First Emperor.
“Your Majesty, these books must not be burned. If you burn them, history will curse you for a thousand years.”
“This man must not be killed. His death would break one of civilization's bones.”
I navigated the intrigues of Xianyang, buried seeds in the ashes, and entrusted the future to the general on the northern frontier.
But no one knows that repairing the “Great Qin” is only my employment assessment.
My task list stretches on like an epic: Zhenguan, Kaiyuan, Jingkang, Jiashen...
I will guard this great river of history. Whoever dares to erase it, I will set right.
The writing is fluent, shows the style of the Qin Dynasty to a certain extent, and the plot is okay. Goldfinger is not too big and has a certain element of suspense. Not bad if it can be maintained.
