The Outcast of The Uncanny Counter

Lin Yue, a history student from the twenty-first century, suddenly finds himself in the snowbound city of Chang'an in the first year of Guangming. Huang Chao's iron-clad troops are storming the Zhuque Gate, and he has become the most out-of-place “stranger” in this age of chaos.

What should have been cold words on the pages of a history book has become the bloodshed and thunderous cries of battle unfolding before his eyes. Huang Chao, the “General Who Surges to Heaven,” who should have been a distant figure from the past, becomes the only person he can rely on when his life is at stake.

The “outsider” who transmigrated here holds the history of the future in his hands, yet finds himself trapped amid the blades and bloodshed of the late Tang. With a Bad Person's token concealed in his sleeve, he must choose between the shifting power games of Huang Chao's army and the desperate struggle of the remnants of the Li Tang dynasty. Should he remain a detached passerby, or risk his life to rewrite a history stained with blood and fire?

Snow falls over Chang'an as beacons flare across the land. A lone stranger enters the martial world, and a tale of The Bad Kids sings of all the turmoil at the end of the Tang dynasty.
