Night Shift Security Guard Rules

Late at night, Lin Mo reported for his first shift. The security office was unnaturally tidy. All it contained was a thick copy of the Work Manual, an old-fashioned flashlight, a walkie-talkie, a ring of keys, and a map on the wall. He casually opened the manual, only to frown at its detailed and utterly bizarre rules. “A prank? Or some kind of psychological test?” He remembered what the HR manager, whose smile had been almost mechanically perfect, had told him during the interview: “Mr. Lin, all you have to do is ‘follow the rules to the letter.’ It’s very simple.”
