Records of the Celestial Fortune Nexus

The Star Lord Tianshu, who governs the fates of mortals in the Heavenly Court, defies the Mandate of Heaven and reveals a heavenly secret. Punished by being cast down to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations, he is reincarnated as Lu Zhiming, an impoverished scholar in the early years of the Republic of China. He has lost all his immortal powers and retains only fragmentary memories of feng shui and physiognomy. To return to Heaven, he must accumulate 100,000 merit points and overcome a hundred tribulations.

In a time of chaos, Lu Zhiming travels across the land, using his incomplete feng shui arts and hazy memories of his past life to alter people's fates, choose auspicious dates, dispel evil, locate dragon veins, and identify auspicious burial sites. From relocating the ancestral graves of the wealthy to arranging the homes of the poor; from feng shui formations that attract wealth to geomantic arts that ward off evil in villages. Every story conceals the mysteries of feng shui, and every trial he resolves earns him a little more merit.

Fifteen independent yet interconnected story arcs trace the long journey of a god who must cultivate and attain enlightenment anew in the mortal world. As his merit accumulates, Lu Zhiming's fragmented memories gradually return, and he discovers that the truth behind his banishment is far more complicated than it seems. A vast conspiracy involving both Heaven and the mortal realm is slowly unfolding along the path of his tribulations...
