Uncle Nine, I Just Got Here, and You're Calling Me the Maoshan Patriarch?

My name is Su Bai. I woke up one day in a completely unfamiliar world.

A Taoist priest who calls himself Mao Xiaofang insists I’m the reborn founder of the Maoshan Sect.

I’m just a good-for-nothing shut-in with a nine-to-five job. How did I end up being the founder?

Then a zombie suddenly appeared:

[The World Guide will help you live better in this world. Please choose one of the following options.]

[1. Hide behind Uncle Nine and accept his protection. You will receive the title “Softest Founder.”]

[2. Shout and charge forward. If a zombie bites you, you will become a red-eyed zombie.]

[3. Walk over, pat the zombie on the head, and tell it to stop fooling around. You will become the reincarnation of the Maoshan Sect’s founder.]

I thought hiding behind Uncle Nine sounded pretty good, but damn it, who shoved me out there?!

Ma Xiaoling: “Ancient Founder, if you help me become human again, I’ll serve you!”

Ren Tingting: “Ancient Founder, save me!”

Zhuzhu: “Ancient Founder, I don’t want to die.”

Qianhe: “Even if you’re the founder, I still want to challenge you. I’m the number-one exorcist in the world, the strongest of them all.”

Wang Zhenzhen: “Ancient Founder, if you help me save Kuang Tianyou, I’ll do anything!”
