[When a gentle, scheming transmigrated heir meets the spoiled, dazzling young master of the chancellor’s household]
Modern CEO Xiao Jingheng, gentle and refined on the surface but wildly sarcastic inside, was transmigrated into the womb of the Prince of Zhenbei’s heir. He had planned to lie flat and keep a low profile, but was forced to maintain his “perfect image,” until he met Lin Qingci, the chancellor’s pampered young master, at a palace banquet. Lively and spoiled, he was like a ball of fire crashing into Xiao Jingheng’s long-quiet world.
“With me, you never have to follow the rules.”
“Then... I suppose I’ll allow you to stay by my side forever.”
And so the people of the capital began to watch:
The cold-faced heir buys out an entire Western Regions caravan to win someone over;
The spoiled young master says, “Who needs him to coax me?” while parading around in a bizarre hairpin the heir gave him;
Their fathers face off at court, then crouch in a corner after the session to complain to each other: “Your son’s too good at fooling people!” “Your son’s too much of a handful!”
This is a story about masks and being true to yourself.
Behind his perfect exterior, he hides a lonely soul; beneath his willful façade, the other guards a pure and earnest heart.
When the transmigrator learns to love in the ways of the ancient world, and the young master learns to grow up and take responsibility for love
Love is willingly stepping outside every shell I had prepared for you.
Two-faced heir × spoiled beauty / Clashes between modern and ancient ways of thinking / A lively family ensemble / All kinds of ways to pamper one’s husband
Woohoo, it's too tragic, it's too dangerous, there are dangers everywhere, can you let the young couple stay safe?
The writing is okay, but the protagonist is too miserable. There are a lot of conspiracies and villains jumping around, and it only lasts half of the time.
The author's writing is very good. I'm short of words and don't know how to express it. I'll come back next week and read this book again.
